Before taking his retirement, Axel, a K9 dog, worked for the Central Falls Police Department for five years. He was so good at his job before retiring that the Central Falls Police Department officers loved him so much.
Because he retired after the typical retirement age for K9 officers, his drive to work was so strong.
Axel’s companion, Officer Decristoforo, kept the street and officers safe no matter the threat with his excellent work! Axel was confident in his decision to give his life to save the police, the officer continued.
Sadly, the dog died, leaving Decristoforo in agony! As a result, in his goodbye post on Facebook, the officer declared that the dog was his partner!
He also said that he always did a great job. He thanked Axel at the end of the post! Heartbreaking!
