At the beginning of the video, we see a bulldog named Reuben with his back to us. On his « day off, » Reuben’s mother suggests that he go to a coffee shop.
However, until Reuben realizes that the coffee shop is excellent for hiring people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, it is unclear to him what a day off means to him.
Reuben raises his head abruptly when he hears that. Reuben finds this information to be very cool. Reuben is required to check it out by his mother.
Reuben says that his mother drives « too slowly » but that he wants to go but wants to drive. Reuben flaunts his butt as he enters the room.
Reuben is looking forward to the coffee shop’s next treat. When his mother adds a pup cup to the mix, Reuben is all in.
Reuben’s dad believes that he should answer his mom. « I’m negotiating! » declares Reuben. They wait for Reuben’s response now that his father has agreed to go.
He is instructed by his mother to « move that butt! » Reuben would like to sit in the front.
He is told by his father that he will not ride a shotgun or play radio games. « Didn’t know we were getting a ride from the fun police, » Reuben declares.
When they get there, they sit outside the coffee shop. Reuben likes the whipped cream in his little pup cup. He takes a lot of time to enjoy it.
Reuben wants to explore the downtown area. When Reuben decides he needs to go potty, they are out walking. Reuben goes to look at the water after they stop.
After that, they visit PetSmart. A sea of dog toys can be seen covering Reuben as he trots along happily. Everything in the store is on Reuben’s list!
Reuben plays with his new toy at home. A wonderful way to conclude a fun excursion and a wonderful day off!
