Britain’s Got Talent, or BGT is a variety show that gives talented people a chance to show off their skills. The best part is that they recently produced an episode in which people of all ages could take part.
The contestants compete for a chance to win £250,000 in front of a live audience. The Zimmers were the first group that won over a lot of people’s hearts.
Simon, Carmen, Alesha, and David, the show’s four judges, appear perplexed by the group of seniors (aged 66 to 88).
Alf Carretta, one of the senior vocalists, and others take their time getting comfortable on stage. Simon inquires about their readiness for the performance as a result of this.
However, the audience is enjoying the performance before it even begins. « What the World Needs Now is Love, » a classic song by Jackie Deshannon from 1965, serves as the backdrop for the Zimmers’ performance.
However, they quickly switch the song to the Beastie Boys’ 1980s hip-hop track “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!).” The audience roars with laughter as they enjoy their performance.
Christine Leeworthy, also known as Crissy Lee, is the next performer. She is a devoted drummer who is retired from the military at the age of 75.
During the audition, her performance is only made public when the stage curtains are opened.
She sings a number of songs, including Queen’s « We Will Rock You, » Aerosmith’s « Dude (Looks Like a Lady), » and Europe’s « The Final Countdown. »
Kenny Petrie, a 64-year-old guitarist and company director, is the next contestant. He opened the case he had placed on the ground to begin his audition.
However, when he plays a heavy metal song on his electric guitar, he quickly catches the judges off guard.
Barry Newton, a rapper who is 82 years old, decides to perform STORMZY’s « SHUT UP, » which even includes him swearing on stage.
The humorous performance was well received by the audience. Simon’s expression said it all. Newton’s adorable performance was so adorable to him.
He made it to the next round, but he was unable to make it to the semi-finals.
